An update regarding our Summer meetings

Hello COSIPA Members and Supporters!

The COSIPA board hopes that you are all doing well as we shelter in place and conduct our businesses in new ways!

On April 22nd, in one of the daily Governor updates which occur at noon, Governor Newsom indicated that no large meetings or gatherings are likely for the months of June, July, and August. On this basis, we are canceling our June meetings at the Hilton and at the Westin. Additionally, we rescheduled our April 2nd meeting to August 13th but that too must be canceled.

At this time, it is our goal, to postpone the program and move the speakers to our Fall Sessions. Those dates, subject to further direction from the Governor, are Thursday, October 8Th in Concord and Thursday, October 22nd in Costa Mesa.  Please mark your calendars.

Some of you had paid for registration for the April 2nd meeting in Costa Mesa. If you wish to be reimbursed, please email our Treasurer, Jamelle Peck at the City of Long Beach. Her email address is as follows:

We are maintaining a record of those who paid for future credits when we are able to resume business.

Thank you for your continued support of our organization and for your understanding.  We will all get through this together stronger, kinder and wiser.

Until we meet again, be safe and stay healthy.

The COSIPA Board
